We won the "local" award in the Kempsey/Macleay area and are now in the finals for the "regional" awards in the NSW Mid-Coast Region.
Our vision is to be "the business of choice when you need electrical assistance and/or training."
PowerLogic electrical consulting & training operates from the mid-north coast of NSW at Gladstone (a small village between Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour). We have been in operation since 2005 and travel all over Australia to assist our clients. PowerLogic electrical consulting & training is a registered trading name of Electrical Consulting and Training Pty Ltd. ABN: 38 116 092 365.
We seek to be environmental responsible and minimise our impact on the environment by recycling and minimising waste, using environmental responsible products, using energy efficient equipment, generating solar electricity on our premise, complying with or exceeding our statutory obligations and providing environmental conscious solutions for our clients such as helping them reduce their electric energy usage. We are also a financial sponsor of and actively involved in a wetland restoration and revegetation project as detailed opposite and below. In 2014 we won a local NSW Business Chamber award for Excellence in Sustainability that recognised our efforts for the enviroment.
Our mission is to "provide high quality electrical services and products to our existing and future clients and be the first business you think of when you need electrical advice or assistance."
To do this, we rely on the following people:Chris is the principal consultant and trainer for PowerLogic. He has approximately 40 years in the electrical industry, specialising in electric incident/shock investigation training, electrical safety and power quality strategy.
Chris has spoken at numerous conferences (see Publications tab) including those for the EESA, MESA, ICHQP, E21C, Electrical Supply Industry Field Days, NSW Mines Electrical Engineering Safety Seminars, and the QLD Department of Natural Resources and Mining Engineers Meetings on topics such as power quality strategy, network monitoring, test instrument usage, electric shock investigations and electrical safety.
Chris has written articles for Industrial Electrix, Transmission and Distribution and writes articles for Electrical Connection magazine for every edition on topics associated with electricians such as electrical testing, compliance with standards, instrument usage, PPE, etc.
He is a member of The Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) and Institute of Electrical Inspectors and is a certified and qualified Principal Auditor. He is a committee member of the EESA and has previously been actively involved on committees including NENS and Qld Working Groups on vegetation clearing near powerlines and the ENA Reliability and Power Quality Working Group (a founding member).
His qualifications include a Masters in Electrical Power Engineering, Graduate Diploma in Management, Advanced Diploma in OH&S, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Advanced Certificate in Industrial Electronics, etc. He is also a licensed Qualified Supervisor - Electrician in NSW having completed an electrical trade before moving into engineering.

Judith is the Administrative Manager, Company Secretary and a Director of Power Logic. Judith studied office administration after leaving high school and worked as the primary administration person for one company before getting back into the work force and helping out at PowerLogic. Judith manages the financial issues and ensures the smooth running of the office at PowerLogic.
Daniel has worked in various fields of electrical industry including air conditioning installation and maintenance. He now heads up PowerLogic's electrical contracting division and is helping businesses with all their electrical needs such as wiring, repairs, test and tagging, thermal imaging, etc. Check his LinkedIn profile.
